On June, 15th, 2010 about 17.42 at Kiev time, the launch vehicle "Dnipro" started from starting centre "Yasnyy" (Orenburgs’ka area, the Russian Federation) and has output into a solar-synchronous orbit space vehicles „Prisma" of space corporations SSC (Sweden) and „Picard" of space agencies CNES (France).
Besides the first flight trials of the domestic unit of perspective avionics (BPA) for launch vehicle control systems „Cyclone-4" and perspective launch vehicles were conducted.
It was the fifteenth launch within the framework of the program "Dnipro".

The Launch vehicle "Dnipro" is conversion missile ÐÑ-20 (or SS-18 according to the classification of the Ministry of Defence of the USA), designed and developed by SCB "Southern", made by SE PA „Pivdenmash" in cooperation with the Ukrainian and Russian enterprises. On the missiles removed from military duty according to the Contract on limitation of strategic armaments, instead of militant part specially designed space body with satellite is established.
